Living With Courage is a lifestyle brand I started when I realized my gym, Courage Performance, needed to evolve. I started Courage Performance (and the two physical gyms that became houses of strength and support to thousands of people over the years) because I wanted to help people realize their true potential. For as long as I can remember, I've always wanted to help inspire people to become the best versions of themselves possible. These gyms were more than just the weights lifted. More than just incremental improvements of overall athleticism and fitness through physical challenges the members faced daily. It was about life. It was about realizing these exercises represented so much more. That the overall strength they were building in the gym would help them in every aspect of life. They were building the confidence and the courage to face any of life's challenges head on. Yes, sometimes they'd fail, or mess up. But just like if you fail a lift - you assess what went wrong, then get back to work to improve and try again, they were learning to approach life just like this.
Living With Courage was the natural progression the Courage Performance brand needed to expand to more people.
So, how are YOU Living With Courage?
We all know and agree at the extreme: the soldier, the police officer, the firefighter. But the fact is every single person on earth lives with courage every day. That mother of three starting up a business while still being a present and loving mother. That 20-something trying to navigate a new life after college and where he stands. That 5-year old who really wants to play with those other two kids on the playground and unsure how to ask. That small town girl trying to make something of herself and hopping on a bus out for the first time. The stories are endless. And I know that while you are reading this you are thinking of the times you faced big decisions and challenges in your life and how you overcame them.
You see, we are ALL Living With Courage every single day. And when you refuse to diminish all that you've done, but instead you acknowledge and celebrate it, you realize just how capable you are.
